Watch consumption where it happens and catch abnormal fuel events the same day.
Fuel monitoring combines vehicle data with fuel level input — from a fuel level sensor, a CAN bus reading or fuelling records — to build a consumption picture per vehicle, route and driver.
The value is less in the monthly total than in the anomalies: a sharp level drop while parked overnight, a refuelling that does not match the recorded litres, or a route whose consumption diverges from the fleet norm.
